8th Grade Outer Banks Trip

WHERE

Eighth grade students will be taking a three day/two-night trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. We will be traveling to Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Hatteras, Roanoke Island, and more!

WHEN

We will depart the morning of Wednesday, March 31st and will return the evening of Friday, April 2nd.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Charter bus transportation, 2-night hotel accommodations with security, tour guides, admissions to attractions, and meals (see on the back about lunch on the first day). Souvenirs are not included.

PAYMENTS

The cost of the trip will be around $525, depending on the number of students who attend. The total amount for the trip will be revised based on the number of students attending. The first payment (deposit) of $120 and the permission slip is due on or before October 16th, 2026. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. All payments for this trip will be made directly to Emerald Student Travel. J.N. Fries l will not be collecting money for this trip. Payments will be collected via an online website. The payment schedule is listed below:

October 16th	$120 non-refundable deposit
November 13th	$120
January 8th	$120
February 12th	$165 estimate (final payment will be revised based on the number of students attending)

You may pay the balance in full at any time, but the first $120 non-refundable deposit MUST be paid by October 16th, 2026, in order to secure your child a spot on the trip. Exceptions to this will be made only for students who enroll at our school after October 16, 2026. Any student who owes money to the school cafeteria, WILL NOT be able to attend the Outer Banks trip.
