The Positivity Project (P2) helps students learn about character strengths like kindness, perseverance, teamwork, and curiosity. In Cabarrus County Schools all schools, K-12, implement the Positivity Project through short weekly lessons and activities. When participating in classroom conversations, students discover how these strengths are part of who they are and how they can use them to build positive relationships.
Our goal is to help every student better understand character strengths within themselves and in others—at school, at home, and in the community. More information can be found on the Positivity Project's website, and you can access our P2 character strength calendar to know what character strength your child is learning about each week.
Additionally, you can also access the P2 for Families webpage for ideas and resources on how to discuss the character strengths at home with your child. If you would like specific information about how P2 is implemented at your child's school, please reach out to your school's administrative team.
