A collage of photos celebrating Red Ribbon Week, featuring students and staff.

Students and Staff had a great week celebrating Red Ribbon Week Oct. 27th-Oct. 31st. It’s a week where schools across the country come together to promote healthy, safe, and drug-free lifestyles. Red Ribbon Week reminds us that the choices we make matter. It’s about standing up for yourself, supporting your friends, and choosing to live a life filled with purpose, health, and respect.

Students collaborate on STEM activities in a classroom setting.

J.N. Fries Middle School buzzed with excitement as students engaged in Spooky STEM Activities filled with hands-on experiments and lots of fun. The halls were happily buzzing as students rotated through themed STEM rooms that brought science and technology to life. From mysterious fog swirling out of dry ice experiments to the crackling glow of plasma lights, the day blended spooky Halloween vibes with scientific discovery. Students were encouraged to hypothesize, observe, and experiment—turning curiosity into creativity.

The app sends a push notification to the parent's smartphone when the bus enters a user-defined geographic area around the stop. Parents only receive access by registering with data unique to their child. It's all information to help parents feel secure about their child's trip on the school bus!
